"John's Barn"

"John's Barn" is a 14" x 11" painting that was finished on October 25, 2005. The small barn in the painting is that of a friend of mine; I've chosen the subject because many of the old barns and sheds that I remember as a child have fallen down or been torn down to make room for more modern structures. This painting symbolizes the antithesis of the encroachment of modern society upon the land I remember when I was young. It is for sale, framed, for $500.
