"Heading Home"

"Heading Home" is an 18" x 24" oil on canvas, completed on September 3, 2008. It is a depiction of an old New England farm in early Autumn; it's a warm, sunny day and the boy and his dog are heading home after a walk through the woods and meadows, much as I used to do with my dog, Queenie, when I was young. Ah, I can smell the warm hay now! The painting is for sale at The Lenox Gallery of Fine Art in Lenox, Massachusetts.
