"Mill Stream"

"Mill Stream" is an oil on gessoboard, size 11" x 14," and was completed on June 11, 2007. It is a scene similar to "Melancholy" but with a warmer sunset. Frequently artists paint a scene many times with varying seasons and light compositions as did Monet with his water lily paintings. This theme appealed to me and I decided to do another composition of the same site. This painting is in the collection of Don, Katie, Bree, and Maddy Dickerson of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
