"Maidan Voyage

"Maiden Voyage" is a seascape in size 16" x 12" and is done on gessoboard. It was finished on October 5, 2006. Periodically I like to do seascapes and while I'm not a great fan of spending time at the ocean, I do love the atmospheric effects that occur there. I also find it very challenging to try to paint water in motion very accurately. The painting is in a private collection.
