This is just a page of my own original art and pictures. Eventually I may include my writing or my favorite pictures from around the net, but so far it's all just original art. The only thing I didn't do is the background.

Simple clarifications: A 'fic' is a fanfic: a story using characters/scenes/the world of a published author, such as any story not written by JK Rowling that used Harry Potter, or took place at Hogwarts, etc. A story is an original piece not affiliated with anything already established.

Drawings, Sketches

Twine

The first drawing I ever did that I really liked, this was my inspiration to get into drawing really. Looking at it now I'm not so fond of it, but it's still not bad (I think).

Knotted

After that last drawing I got really into drawing vines, and this sketch started life as an entire page filled with entwining vines. Then I decided it was too simple, and I saw a sketch my grandfather had done of some flowers and added these four. I got some very odd looks from teachers, sitting in glass drawing squiggly lines on every piece of paper I got!

Illusions of Grandeur

The vines led to this little design I did here, which I then incorporated a cross to after a lecture on religion from my pompous uncle. This design is something I've repeated everywhere (not this one exactly, but the entwining lines) and on everything! Including my walls :)

Drowning Light

I did this sketch right after I read Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series for the first time. This was in the midst of re-reading The Killing Dance. For those of you who haven't read the books, that means I was thinking about werewolves and (to a lesser extent) vampires when I did this.

Roseclear Redfern Harman

This is a character sketch of Roseclear Harman, a character originally by LJ Smith who is the main character in a fic I'm writing on fanfiction.net A Witch who isn't a Witch. Lorie, aka Lady Cymantha Loretta of Terrelstore

The main character from a fantasy story I'm writing, though I have not actually posted yet. The two women in the picture are actually the same one, only one is of her at court and one is of her when she goes out for fun. When I actually post it I'll put up a link. Green-gold eyes, red and purple hair with streaks of light blue and lavender (naturally that way), lightly golden skin.

Aravian, End of Summer Feast

An original main character from my fic of Anne Bishop's wonderful Black Jewels Trilogy. The girl is the daughter of Surreal and Falonar, and looks basically like a Dea al Mon with Eyrian wings. Sapphire blue eyes, silvery hair, pale skin. http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=475193

Just a random picture I drew, for a story I'm writing. The girl is Nynette, I haven't given the boys names yet, but I do know that they are vampires.

Marie

Character sketch of the main characters from a story my best friend is writing. Marie is (I think) a vampire and a descendent of Dracula.

Risa

Character sketch of the main characters from a story my best friend is writing. Risa is a vampire who lived during in Sicily during the beginning of the Black Plague (1347). Flatteringly, the character is based on me! (not in appearance)

The Dogs, Navarre and Isabeau!!

These are my pets, Isabeau (the black) and Navarre (the yellow). Aren't they adorable?! They love cameras. It's so funny, if you take one out, they sit down with their ears perked up... and sometimes make faces (see the one with Navarre winking? Lol)
