Wedding Headdress - May 2003This is a custom made one-of-a-kind headdress for Summer 2003 wedding in Washington, DC, where the bride will be wearing a custom created 50's style, cream colored, tea length dress. When it was received by my client, she was estatic over its beauty. I thought for sure there might need to be some alterations, but she assured me that none needed to be made. The fit, colors and design were more than even she had hoped for. It is made with Swaroski Crystals and Cream Freshwater Pearls along with gold charlottes and a gilt-lined cream Japanese glass seed bead, and a few glass bugle beads for glint and glitter. As the wedding takes place, plenty of pictures will be taken of the Bride wearing this headdress. Once I receive the wedding pictures, I will be replacing the pictures below, with pictures of the beautiful Bride in her wedding dress and the matching headdress. So please stop back later in the Summer to view the winning combination. I am also creating a clutch purse to match the headdress for the bride. Pictures of the purse will soon follow. Pictures never show the actual beauty of beadwork, and it is so true in this case. The Swaroski Crystals sparkle and the Freshwater Pearls glow, and the true beauty of this piece of art is not shown via these pictures.
