Mawmaw's Turkey Stuffing

2 (1 pound) loaves white bread
2 cups of celery, diced
1 cup of onion, diced
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup margarine
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup of water (or to make toast soggy)

Toast bread and tear into small pieces and put in large mixing bowl. (Kids love to do this)

Fry onion and celery in margarine until soft.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Combine bread pieces, celery, onion, eggs and mix well. Add water until mixture is soggy. Season with salt and pepper.

Place mixture inside the cavity of a turkey or place it in a casserole dish. If stuffing is to be baked separately from the turkey, bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes.
