Cutting out your design...
If you've gotten this far on this project, you're doing a great job! An anticipated deadline date of Friday, October 17th has been set for ALL pumpkins. If you need to take advantage of tutoring after school on any Wednesday, please do so! Be responsible for your grade, project and pride!
After the lid has been cut off with a fettling knife, you must now draw a face to cut out on your pumpkin. You must brainstorm ideas for face designs - ALL DESIGNS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE TEACHER BEFORE A FACE IS CUT OUT! (Scroll down for more information.)
The face must be cut out very carefully. Listen to the very important and useful tips that Mrs. Hruby tells the class - she has years of experience in pumpkin making! The face must be cut out when the clay is in the GREENWARE to be FIRED!
