Concerning Elves

Elves came from across the Western Seas many ages ago and have settled
all over Middle Earth in the First Days ,when trees and mountains
were young .Then after more races appeared and the world turned
dark they dissapeared from most of Middle Earth and many went back
over the Western Seas .Still some remained in Middle Earth .
Examples of those are the Elves of Mirkwood and the Elves of
Rivendell .




Looks :

Elves are as tall as Men are ,actually slightly smaller .
Thus the Elves in Middle Earth are tall manlike folk with pointy
ears .Because of their ears are pointy they can hear better .
Not only their ears are better than that of most folk ,but
also their sight and agility is ,making them fierce
opponents in combat .Most of the times uŽll find an Elf armed
with a bow ,bacause thats one of their most effective and most
lethal weapons .All the Elves are feared for their swift
arrows .Their dressing is mostly natural and with that I mean
that their clothes are made from natural resources and also have
a nature like colour .An example of those clothes are the ones
the Company receives from Lady of Lorien .Those were also made
from Elvish resources and in those clothes people can hardly be
seen when moving through forest or plain .



Habits :

Because Elves are immortal ,this does not mean that they canot be
killed ,but that they will not die of age ,they take a lot of time to
learn certain skills .By example their fabulous skills in archery were
created by decades of training and with this immortal life they also
learned to be very patient .It will not be often so that the Elves
will strike first in battle ,cause they have a lot of patience with
their enemies ,but ofcourse not with Mordor but in battles against
Dwarves they do wait long .Elves like beautiful and graceful things
and so they create a lot of it and do take their time .A magnificent
example of their cunning in building and creating beautiful things
is the city of Rivendell .ThereŽs not a building there without decorated
parts .
