TO all game makers or other people that are able to make games (Infogrames I'm looking at you) Please, OH PLEASE make a Dragon ball Z game using these controls... I have put alot of thought into this so please use it.

Playstation 2 Game Cube Nintendo
Direction pad = movement Direction pad = movement
Square = punch B = Punch
X = kick A = Kick
Triangle = Energy Attack Y = Energy Attack
Circle = Special Technique X = Special Technique
L1 = Block L = Block
L2 = Power Up R = Power Up*
R1 = 3D movement (hold) Z = 3D movement (hold)
R2 = Alternate Power up * Game Cube has one less button hence only one power up button
Energy Bars:Energy bars are saved up by pressing and holding the power up button and are used up by performing special moves or Technique and energy attacks(just as they did in the latest Dragon Ball Z game from Infogrames)
Ki Blasts:Ki Blasts should be handled in much the same way as past Dragon Ball Z games, but with a few alterations: Fist, I like the idea of having a button devoted to just shooting quick Ki Blasts. However I would like to simplify the process in which larger blasts are preformed, this is accomplished through simple tap combos (as I find them easier to pull off during game play). For instance Goku’s Kamehameha wave would be: down, froward, punch or down, forward, energy attack (if you wanted a continuous blast in which you would have to tap the energy attack button to keep for as long as you wanted the blast to continue). Side Note: I realize that the Kamehameha wave is considered a special technique for Goku, but I also would like to point out that every character in the series has a very similar attack (i.e. An energy beam attack that can be quick or sustained in a continuous wave). Also Ki blast “tug of wars” often seen in the show would be handled much in the same way as DBGT: FINAL BOUT (tapping a button [ energy attack button] quickly to win).
Punching/Kicking Furies:Furies meaning when a character unleashes lighting quick punches and or kicks at his opponent as they block or get hit (this only working when the two fighters are close to each other). To determine how long these furies would last and if the opponent is hit I would think that using energy bars to decide this. Meaning that if the attacker has saved up more energy bars then the opponent they are hit (the energy bars would drain as the fury continued, as well would the energy bars of the character blocking). It should also be noted that if the attacker wishes to stop the fury they would simply have to tap away from there opponent twice, also if they wanted to switch between kicks or punches they would tap the respective buttons during the fury. Another side note on furies, if the character blocking the fury wishes to get out of the fury they would have to perform a counter attack (a button combo that would get them out of the fury and or hit their opponent in the process)
Moving and 3D moving:Movement in the game would be a lot like that in any other One on One fighting game (forward to move forward, up to jump, down to duck etc.) with the double tap to dash toward or away from your opponent. 3D movement would allow the character to move around the opponent in a circular fashion changing the left and right buttons on the controller to moving in that direction with up and down moving the character closer or farther away from the opponent. It should also be noted that tapping up twice would put your character into the air and tapping down twice would put you back on the ground. Also I have yet to see a Dragon ball Z game that lets you do that disappear, reappear trick where the character appears behind the other and lets loose with some kind of attack. I would like to suggest that a button combo such as back, back, special technique would make you disappear and then reappear behind the opponent. And then other such combos to appear at the sides and above the opponent. Another side note: powerful attacks would knock you out of the air
Special Techniques:This button is for all the Character specific techniques that each character has, Like Kamehameha and distructo disc etc. These would also be pulled off by tap combos. It should also be noted that transformations would us this button as well (like Vegeta going SS2 or whatever)

Playstation 2 alternate controls
Direction pad = movement
Square = punch
X = kick
Triangle = Energy Attack
Circle = power up
L1 = Block
L2 = Specials button one
R1 = 3D movement (hold)
R2 = Specials button two
With these controls you would press and hold either special button one or special button two, to pull off all special moves/ transformations. This would give all fighters a total of eight special moves (more if transformations unlock more moves, like only being able to do final flash as a SS Vegeta and so on)
