Inspirations on Wood

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Hello and welcome to my page. First and foremost I would like it to be noted, that pictures do not do this work justice. The process used is "engraving through wood burning" and is a long, drawn-out and pains taking technique that first involves pencil scribing in a ray block, then lightly scribing the verse letters in one by one, then slowly and ever so carefully burning and engraving letter by letter into the wood. Before all this can even take place the wood "Ponderosa Pine" must be hand sanded. Once the verses are burned into the wood, then the "dot" process takes place. If you note at the end of each straight line of the letters, a small dot is burned into place. This gives the engraving an "Old English" font style. This also is a very time consuming endeavor. Some have it, and some are without it. All prices are adjusted to reflect the time spent on each piece, and though I couldn't even begin to hope to recoup wages, it's a worth while hobby to have, as not many enjoyable wood working hobbies also share and spread the Word of God. After all the engraved burns are done, it must be sanded again, then gone over again in some places, and sanded again. Then a high gloss enamel finish is used on it (Which can not be appreciated on film) Then another sanding and another one to two coats of varnish.
