What I'm looking for.
Hello out there funky feminist women who suffer from depression! I am creating this website to get in touch with other women through email or maybe even in person-I am new to Worcester and don't know too many people. I use to live in Cambridge, and let's just say you don't see too many people with pink hair out here never mind quirky bibliophiles with a passion for thrift stores.So I thought I'd send myself out there into cyberspace and see if anyone could relate. I have clinical depression-it comes and goes and I'd love a few women to jam with not only about the frustration of depression but about ideas, recovery, feminism, discovery, movies, spirituality, fashion, books, everything. We could share resources and write to each other- I know there are days when I can barely get out of bed and then there are ones where I am a funky, fresh, action girl ready for adventures. I also paint and write poetry and am involved in activism for people with mental illness. It's a disease, but it's not all me. not at all. But sometimes it feels like it and it's good to talk. So if you can relate, write me!!!
