RETURN TO MAIN WEBPAGE
While you are waiting for the animation to load...A brief word on how to... This was made using Microsoft gif animator. It can be downloaded for free! and it works well. Amazingly, an animated gif can be used as a background... This fact makes full screen eye-popping art possible without huge files... I took an abstract drawing that was 100x100 pixels and then used the mirror command to mirror it RIGHT and then UP. (arcsoft photostudio-freeware) This makes a 200x200 pixel image that background-repeats nicely. The edges of each picture match exactly. The way a computer makes a background for a webpage is to repeat an image horizontally and vertically. If you make your image symmetrical then the edges match and the background is smooth. ANY image that is mirrored both horizontally AND vertically will REPEAT seamlessly... Then I modified the original abstract drawing a little by drawing curved lines on it and saved another "cell"... there are 20 images... each a little bit different than the last...scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the animation clearly... CLICK ON VIEW\SOURCE to see the html/css commands used to get this effect...
