A lovely Chinese export rose medallion cup & saucer of very are form... Cup has 6 gently lobed sides with further 12 "fluted" panels. The conforming saucer has 5 lobes, each of which has 3 flutes & a "dimple". Very thin potting, see the backlit detail. And the hand painting quality is high, as you can see the enlarged pic is considerably larger than life. No marks whatsoever. Late 1800's to early 1900's.
Cup 2" high x 3.6" diameter; saucer 5.5" diameter. No chips hairlines or cracks. Enamel & gold in good condition. A wonderful and very lovely rose medallion about 100 years old. Very unusual form matching cup & saucer. Definitely a plus for your collection!
