Life On The Bayou
Now Playing: Vote For Change Concert-Dave Mathews, Jimmy Eat World-Pain
Here is a descriptive writing story I made for Language Arts.
NOTE: YOU NEED TO PRETEND YOU ARE FROM THE SOUTH AND LIVE IN LOUISIANA
Barbara-Jeans husband, Frank had gone fishing in the swamp with his drinking buddies. It was a dark and stormy October night and just as Barbara-Jean put down her enticing romance novel she heard a gunshot outside of her trailer park home. Barbara-Jean peeked out of the window and saw a figure looming in the shadows.
That figure was none other that the town drunk, Billy-Ray Smith. Billy-Ray was a pleasantly plump man in his late 40's. Billy-Ray sported a greasy mullet and a fast growing beer belly. Billy-Ray was dressed in his deer huntin' attire and he also had a raccoon skin cap on his head. Even from the inside of her trailer Barbara-Jean could smell the pungent odor of the bayou.
Barbara-Jean quickly grabbed the metal baseball bat she used to discipline her children when necessary. Billy-Ray pounded on the door, and Barbara-Jean scooted away to the farthest corner of her mobile home. Billy-Ray made his way into the trailer and with the force of a thousand suns Barbara-Jean let out a holler and bashed Billy-Ray's head in with her baseball bat. Barbara-Jean desposed of Billy-Rays body and quietly returned to her romance novel.
NOTE: I ALSO HAVE TO READ THIS IN FRONT OF THE CLASS
