Called to Order
A red Toyota pulled up in the driveway of the Kay-san house. Joe was looking out window. “Oh shit!” he yelled. “What’s wrong Joey?” Madeline asked. “The old broad’s here!” he said quickly. The room fell silent. “You’re kidding, right?” China asked upset sounding. “Ha! I wish I was!” Joe shot back. Groans came from the group. Aneko look confused. “What’s wrong?” she asked. *Sweat drop on the crew’s heads as they look at Aneko* “What’s wrong? What’s wrong? Satan’s grandma is what’s wrong?!?” Kris yelled. “*Sweat drop* Now now…” Basil said. “It’s the truth.” Robert said tag-teaming Kris. “How bad can she be?” Aneko asked. *All expect Basil, Mata, Matilda, Adam, and Aneko fall down* “*Sweat drop* She has no idea!” Tony wailed. “*Sweat drop* You said it!” said Joe. The crew sighed.
“KRISSS!” a woman’s voice yelled. “Coming.” said Kris. Then she ran towards the door. “She’s going to get an earful.” Joe said bitterly. The crew listened to Kay-san yell at Kris. “She’s loud.” said Aneko. “It gets worse.” Adrian said. “Okay. We’ll be going now. Bye.” China said quickly. “STOP RIGHT THERE!” the woman yelled as the crew got up to leave. They froze right in their tracks and turned. A woman looking to be forty with black hair in a ponytail stood beside Kris. Kris herself looked her. The woman searched the room with her eyes. “So who all are new and who are visiting?” she asked Kris. “Adam and Matilda are new and Aneko is visiting.” Kris answered. “Welcome to the Kay-san sorority house. My name is Kay-san and I am the owner of the house.” the woman said. Then Kay-san turned to the others. “I leave you all alone for two weeks and a half and you run a muck! You know what you’ll be doing today!” she barked. “We know! We know!” they grumbled.
    Sweep kitchen and bathroom
    Do dishes
    Clean rooms
    Water Plants
    Vacuum
    Dust
    Clean bathrooms
    Take out trash
    Wash clothes
    Fold clothes
    Iron them
    Put them away
Joe didn’t know what was worse. “Why are we doing this again?” Robert complained. “Cause we have to.” Aneko said. “Shut up!” he barked. “I was trying to help!” she shot back. “Stop. Let’s just do this so the old broad can quit complaining.” Kris jumped in. Robert and Aneko turned away angrily. “Slave driver.” Rob grumbled under his breath.
The crew divided the chores. Some got what they wanted. Others, well…. didn’t. “Why do I have to deal with clothes?!?” China wailed. “Cause all the other spots are taken.” Kris said. *Sweat drop on China’s head as she sighs*
The chores began. All except the new kids, Aneko, Mata, Basil, and Madeline were complaining. “I feel like a housewife!” China wailed. “Well, if you cleaned while I was gone, you wouldn’t be complaining, now would you?” Kay-san replied. “I hate you.” China grumbled under her breath.
The chores were finished by late afternoon. Kay-san inspected the place. To the crew’s satisfaction, she was pleased. And as a reward, Kay-san gave the crew a nice dinner.
That evening, the crew sat on the roof of the house. “*Sigh* That was rough!” Joe sighed. “You said it!” Kris said. “I don’t get it. What’s so bad about Kay-san?” Aneko asked cluelessly. *All except the new kids, Mata, Madeline, Basil, and Aneko fall back* “She hasn’t seen anything yet!” China wailed. “You’re got that right babe!” Robert said. *Crew sighs miserably*
