Neko

    Typical morning. I headed out of the door of my mansion. "Wait!!!" a voice called out to me. I turned to see my faithful perocom, Yuki, running towards me. Yuki was my maid. She was always reliable and always helpful. Maybe that's naze we become good friends.
    Anyway, Yuki caught up to me. "Hai?" I asked. "You forgot your lunch." she said. Then she handed me a pink bag with a usagi face on it. "Arigato." I said as I took it. Yuki just smiled. I bowed and left for school.
    Himura Rec. was within walking distance of home. I always enjoyed the walk. But today's walk would change everything.
    I was almost to the curb when I met him. In my path sat a small neko-yokai. He was pretty looking. All I could do was stare at him. "Myaow." he said. Suddenly, I wanted to pet him. His big eyes seemed to say: "Take me home with you!" So I knelt down and pet him. The kitty was enjoying that. For moment, I forgot about nani time it was.
    Then it donned on me! "Oh my!" I exclaimed. "I'm going to be late!" So, I rose up and began running. But I stopped and turned around. The little kitty was still sitting there. "Don't leave me!!!" he seemed to cry out. "Aw, don't worry!" I said to him. "I'll be back soon." He seemed to feel better. Little did I know, I would be saying that to him a lot.
    I made it to school just in time. My day was normal as usual. Then, lunch was a little strange. I sat under the old cherry tree, as usual, and began eating my lunch. I had sushi, cheese nips, V8 fruit juice, and some oreo cookies. Or, I thought I did.
    I had my lunch sitting out and I had to turn for a second. When I had turned back, most of my lunch was gone! Half of my cookies and one sushi roll remained. Trash surrounded it. I was angry and confused. Who could have done this? I couldn't think on an empty stomach. So I ate nani was left of my lunch.
    The rest of my day was peaceful. I didn't have much homework. It didn't rain when I walked back. But soon, I was in for a huge shock.
    When I had opened the door, the same neko yokai and my perocom were in the dining room! The kitty was sitting on the floor at the table eating dinner. Yuki was serving the rest of when she saw me. "Welcome home Noiz." she said. I couldn't speak. "Hi." said the kitty.
    "Uh....?" I began to say. "Nani are you doing here?!?" "I live here, master." he said. "You... MASTER?!?" I exclaimed. "Uh-huh." he said. I turned to Yuki. "Accessing data." she said. I quickly grabbed the cords and plugged her into our monitor.
    The data that came up shocked me. My house had three residents! Yuki, myself, and Naoko! "Yuki." I said. "Hai?" she asked. "Can I look into Naoko's bio?" I asked. "Certainly." she said. The persocom brought up the data. I read it quietly. This is nani it said:

        Name: Naoko
        Age: 15
        Birthdate: 5/10/88
        Species: Neko youkai
        Status: Noiz's pet neko

    I about fainted when I saw the piece of data. Naoko had adopted himself to me! "Noiz." Yuki said. "Are you okay?" I nodded fainlt. "Sushi, master?" Naoko asked.
    That evening, I lied in bed. Thoughts ran though my head. Naoko had came here and added his data to Yuki. I was stunned. But then again, I would've done the same thing later. So now nani? He was here and he wanted to stay. And to tell the truth, I wanted him here. It was settled. Naoko was staying with us!
