love Christine for years, but how does she feel about them?

Damon and
Cello seem to be lovey-dovey, but they had a more awkward start.

Damon
asks Cello to do the fearful impossible: He wants to meet her mom. Cello
refuses at first, but gives in. Will her panic be well-warranted?
Chapter thirty-five: Friends, Cello, and Damon
After much pleading from Sao, Cello reluctantly agrees to let Sao and Christine
meet Damon in a group date.

Cello
wanders how she got so lucky to have a boyfriend like Damon, but she also asks
about her future.

Chapter thirty-seven: Flight Plans
Cello
can't take it anymore and turns to a guidance counselor for help with her
future, even though she doesn't know what she wants for herself.
Chapter thirty-eight: Stupid Little Boys
Sam
and Isaiah run into Cello and drag her off for some advice to win over
Christine's affections.
Chapter thirty-nine: What is the Point?
Cello
tells her mother her plans for the future, but Makoto doesn't take it so well.
Volume fourteen:
Chapter forty: Mama Weeps
Cello tells Makoto
her plans again and Makoto still doesn't take it well. But could it lead to a
war over Cello's future?
Chapter forty-one: Clingy Day
In a desperate
attempt to stay by her daughter, Makoto drags Cello out with her.
Chapter forty-two: The Man's Path
The guidance
counselor talks with the boys about their future with disastrous results.
Volume fifteen:
Chapter forty-three: Letting Go, Goodbye
Makoto comes to a realization about reality as she, Nancy, and Doll Face
realize they are in a funk.

Sao
and Christine make plans for what they want to do after graduation.
