What you need!
* iPod Shuffle
* Any 68k Mac with a Microphone input
* And this sort of extension cable,
* System 7 and up
* At Least 2 Meg of Ram
* 10 Megs of HDD Space for recording (If needed)
Set-up

1. Make sure your Mac is turned off, Then connect one end of the extension cable into the Microphone port at the back of your Mac.
2. Once one end of the cable is connected to your mac connect the other end of the cable to your iPod.
3. Once everything is connected, Start up your Mac.
4. Once the mac is on, turn on your iPod Shuffle, Now go to the Control Panels and double click on Sound.
5. Then click on ADD, Once the recording thing is displayed, press play on your iPod Shuffle.
Sound Should be coming out of your Speakers if not you have a slight problem which i will talk about later.
I have tested this on 2 computers my Macintosh Colour Classic and my Macintosh Centris 610. Both had different results, For example the Colour Classic Played the music straight from the ipod with no problems.
But the Centris 610 didn’t like that idea so i had to record the music then play it back.
What to do if no sound is being let out
If no sound is being let out the next best thing is to record the music to your Hardrive. then play it back with one of the following Software.
* Canon 2
* iSound reader 2.0
* Micro Recorder
But to record the Music from the iPod the best Software is,
* MicroRecorder 2.0 (You can Compress)
If Sound is being let out what can you do for better Sound Quality
Ok if their is Sound being let out, You might want to get Microrecorded 2.0 it will give you better sound quality when you play the songs off the ipod.

WARNING
Use a Screen Saver if your going to use your iPod for a long Peroid of time to prevent Screen Burn.
