In your opinion, which icing is the best to use for making flowers?

I haven't used it myself, but from what I've seen, read, and heard, sugarpaste is the way to go...it's versatile as you can make virtually any size, shape, kind of flower, and it's easy to handle. Because you work directly with your hands, you have more control over how the petal is shaped. ~ Pam

For me a very stiff butter creme is the best for making roses, although I can make roses out of any kind of icing including whipped creme. ~ Linda
