This series of illustrational plates was done when experimenting
with a new way to colour and shade my pixel based artwork.
The results of my experimenting had a large impact on the way I
worked for a while, and I'm still proud of these three pictures.
Sadly, the jpeg compression doesn't do them justice, and I
intend to have them printed in an outrageously blown up size
so each pixel is lovingly rendered.

Each piece was initially drawn in MS Paint, then coloured
simply and then taken to Corel Photopaint 7, where I used the
lighting filters to create the gradiation and lighting.
Some aspects were then finished in PSP.
