This is steering away from my mk ripping but this is how to remove the background on some levels .
Using MAME go to cheats and creat a cheat edit the ADDRESS with 88086238 and a DATA of 01 now turn the MASK to FF exit code.
Start a two player game P1 pick OCHID and p2 pick GLACIUAS its only been tested with these characters.
make shure you use level select buttons at character select screen.
to select level press up and the weak punch i may be wrong but anyway its the level on the rooftop.
Now turn on the code you may see some glitch in the background now go to cheats .
move the DATA down to FF and back to 02 or 01 both may work now your background may be a gray or a white depending on the level .
Next I,m going to find codes to remove the life and timer sprites ,creat an infinate timer ,
lock character in place for easier sprite
ripping , and make P1 invisable code ,
P2 invisable code .
