                            TYPE: Student Life TITLE: 9/11 Day of Remembrance - Expressive Art Project DESCRIPTION: the Community Building Initiative/Campus Beautification Project will honor the memories of 9/11 through expressive art projects. All are invited to attend this event. DATE: Thursday, September 09, 2004 TIME: 1:30pm to 3:30pm LOCATION: Occidental Lounge (5th flr.) of the Brooklyn College Student Center





                            June 1, 2004 : Yes, I know the date is ahead of time. Coming soon will be pics of the party on the 27th of May and scans of Member Comics :)






                            This is the former background of the website, by the way :) The new one arrives June 2004!





                            June 8th, 2004 : The party was changed to June 3rd and that day, I went out with my gramps. He had a mini-stoke. So we spent 9 hours in the ER. Couldn't make it to the party. Only Boris took pics, and not with a digi cam... And updated is a new page for art banner, buttons, and freebies. The art there is by LT "Kwan".

                            May 27th, 2004 : PARTY! This coming Thursday, party in the Gold Room! :)




                            May, 2004 : Well, well, we gathered in the room and watched DBZ trailers, FFVII trailer (Summer movie) and made fun of each other. Anthony shall be the new prez, Kath (me) the vice prez who will do nothing, Ankit the noob (newbie) as secretary and Will who drew me like a monkey Treasurer, my former place!

                            March, 2004 : One more time: The art show is Ink and Paint: The art of Illustration Featuring original artwork in comics, fantasy, sci-fi etc.


                            March 16, 2004 Reception from 2-4 and 5-8 Room 5410 Boylan

                            Please leave any adn all submissions in room 5157 Boylan Hall on Monday from 1-5 ( or in the art dept.) after that just stop by the Gallery

                            **** IMPORTANT: If you are participating in the show please hand in submissions ASAP to the Art Group room. Also if you could also bring some kind of food to have for the reception? Chips, cookies, soda, whatever. Any and all help will be appreciated! Just drop them by the gallery on tuesday.




                            January 29, 2004 : FEBRUARY 11, 2004-> Comic is DUE

                            MARCH 5, 2004-> Poster for show is DUE

                            MARCH 9, 2004-> COMIC ART SHOW!!!!




                            January -Feburary 2004: Okay, Publication. I should send out a list of information for it. so here goes.

                            1.) any and all comics must be in by the third week of February that wednesday. anything after that will be merely used for the show in the gallery

                            2.) Must be black and white

                            3.) all characters must be your own ( i.e NO FanFiction/ Fanart)

                            4.) All must be 3 1/2 pages front and back

                            5.) If you think it could be taken as offensive don't put it in!

                            6.) It doesn't necessarily have to follow any format ( ie panels or no panels) as long as a story is told

                            7.) all books will be handed out on the day of the ComicArt show to be held in the Boylan hall student gallery on the fifth floor in March

                            8.) any submissions must be brought to the Art Group room before the date stated above, it is up to you if you want to leave copies or original. All submission will be handed back after the copy guy does his thing

                            9/26/2003: The first meeting of Fall 2003 is on September 30 (Tuesdays) during club hours in Boylan 5158, art gallery. 1:30- whenever :)
