Modes
PROGRAM mode is indicated by P on the dial this is an
automatic mode. The camera will select the correct shutter speed and
aperture for the scene. |
| APERTURE PRIORITY mode
is indicated by A on the dial. This means that you manually
set the aperture and the camera will select the shutter speed
appropriate for a good exposure. |
| SHUTTER PRIORITY
mode is indicated by S on the dial. This
means that you manually set the shutter speed and the camera selects the
appropriate aperture for a good exposure. |
| MANUAL mode is indicated by
M on the dial. This means that you manually set the shutter speed
and aperture for the scene. |
| S-prg
is pre-set programs that Olympus have installed in the camera for
specific situations like sports, portrait, night, etc. |
| Make sure the Reset is set to Off
in the mode setup/Custom menu or your camera will default back to the
factory settings |
