This was the centre of the Munhumutape Empire four hundred years ago in Central Africa. It was a great trading centre working in gold,ivory, iron, slaves and trading in crops. It stretched all the way across Zimbabwe and Mozambique to the Indian Ocean more than fifteen hundred kilometres. |
