BLEEDING HANDS AT BURGER KING
I got a job at Burger King again, and my hands were bleeding. There were several very deep cuts in my hands, I'm not sure if I cut myself on purpose, or if i was an accident (or several accidents) on one of the machines. It seemed like I made the cuts myself, but had no time to bandage them, or something. I was at the counter making sandwiches, and bleeding profusely all over the food. No one seemed to notice. I was getting food in my cuts and I was concerned about that.
Finally when I wasn't rushed to make sandwiches, I asked for a bandaid. I don't know why I asked for one bandaid, when in fact I needed stitches in several places. But, by that time there wasn't much bleeding and the blood was all crusty and dry and had lettuce stuck in it. The manager, upon giving me a band-aid, appeared unaware of the reason I needed one. I put the band-aid on one of the cuts that was still bleeding, on the back of my right hand between my thumb and forefinger, and went back to work.
