Yes, it's true that I think up, draw, color, scan etc. all these characters and comics. But I wouldn't have been able to do it if it wasn't for some very special people in my life. I may not see some of them every day....but "absence makes the hear gor fonder" and thus inspires me and makes me draw. Faster, harder, and better. All my comics are dedicated to these people:
Emma,
my sister (yes, I know, crappy pic, but it's the only one I have at the moment),
was the first person who pointed out the potential that Eliza had. "Why
don't you draw her more often?" She told me, "She's something good,
you can go far with her". Well, because of that little push, all of this
happened. Get get more influential than that, can you?
Slinky
is a dear, dear friend who single-handedly intoduced me to the gothic subculture.
He has taught me all that I know about it (well, except Johnny the Homocidal
Maniac....he pointed that out), and for that I am so incredibely grateful. I
love to draw in the dark, dank gothic style and from that darkness, Eliza sprang
forth. Slinky has also influenced the visual appeareances of the characters
Sarcasm and Chris, as well as most of the plotlines of the comics. Slinky is
also my critic. I never deem a strip complete until he has read it. And if the
strip makes him laugh, then it is successful. Slinky wanting to read more has
always driven me to think up more comics to create......
Jojo
is my bestest best friend, who like Slinky, lives far away. Why am I cursed
so??? WHHHYYY?? *ahem* Anyways..... Jojo has always been there for me. She's
a excellent artist and her great sense of humor has spilled over into my work.
Jojo has helped me alot with characterization, always pointing out "Hey!
Isn't that something Chris would do?" Jojo's originality also serves as
a inspirational force; whether it's expressed in her artwork or in her personality.
She is also the only one lucky enought to have Eliza and the gang tattooed on
her wall by moi.
