The sun comes over the trees Bringing the morning Bringing freshness to the day Drying the night's dew from the leaves In the garden, there is a single Rose Pale and delicate, not yet fully opened Alone on the stem Hiding her mystery inside her petals What is she thinking? What is she waiting for? She is sleeping Waiting for her love's kiss to awaken her The sun tries to coax her to awaken With it's warm, brilliant rays of light But Rose still waits, still sleeping He comes, and touches the delicate leaves The petals of the Rose, he sees And in a moment of passionate reaction Brings his lips to those petals and kisses them softly Rose awakens and raises her face to her love Spreading wide open her petals to him For him to take, enjoy as he pleases No inhibition, no doubts, only sweet desire, pure love Lost in the aroma of ardor and the intensity of the moment They are together, her love and his adoring Rose. |
