Ramblings at the beginning of the month are at the bottom. Read in order of bottom to top. Yeah, it's a bid odd, but that's the way I typed them when they were on the main page, so that's the way they will be here.

I must thank everyone for the wonderful feedback I've been getting regarding the pages I made for the trip I went on. Thank you all! I guess all my hard work paid off. Such wonderful praise like that which I have been getting is what keeps me interested in making sites like these. What's funny is that on June 28th while I was making the pages for my trip, I was so into doing it and making it look nice, I forgot to do everything! I woke up, ate breakfast in front of my computer and started making that site. I forgot to eat lunch and forgot to do all my chores for the day. My parents weren't entirely happy about that. Oops! Finally, when dinner time rolled around, I did emerge from my room and ate another meal. Hey, I enjoyed all of it though. I'm glad everyone likes it!

Hey there, everyone! I'm back from my 7-day trip to southern California! It was amazing. Truly amazing! I got to do, see, hear, touch, hold, and say things I never thought I would. I loved it! I won't talk about all of it here on this page because I've spent the last two days making up a day-by-day documentation of all of it including pictures and everything! So, without further ado, you may click here to start at Day 1 of my trip. Hope you enjoy it! I know I did!

Okay now. Everything worked out so far. I was indeed able to register online without a problem. Odd. To cut a long story short, I called my councilor and talked to her some and she let me do it. I'm glad that's done with. Get this, I have a class that goes from 8:00am to 11:30am with a half hour break and then it continues at 12:00pm to 3:15pm! Sheesh! I certainly hope I like that class! Oh well. So, I'm happy now. ^_^

Hey, last night, we had a big thunder and lightning storm here. Lightning is very cool if you can get a decent picture of it. Well, I had a digital camera and my dad had the magic finger. Take a look here to see the awsome picture! I'd like to see anyone else get that shot with a still-photo digital camera in the rain! HA! I love that picture!

Good morning, everyone. I hope it's a good morning for all of you out there because it certainly isn't for me. You know what really sucks? The fact that with all of today's "wonderful" technology and advancements to make things easier, I still have to actually go to my college to register for next year's classes. They say very clearly that I can do it by touch-tone or do it online via email but just now, they say that my account is blocked and that I have to do a walk-in (actually go to the college and register in person). I was looking forward to just registering online and then being done with it. But no. And after I was specifically told that I did not need to do a walk-in! This is really ticking me off. All I want to do is register for four classes and be done with it. Why is this such a difficult process to go through?! UGH! Maybe I'll get it all sorted out soon and I'll let you all know then how it worked out. *SIGH*

Good afternoon everybody! I learned a valuable lesson today: Eating a Klondike bar without any napkins on a hot day is NOT a good idea! Ice cream all over the place...well...all over me! Well, on Monday, I register for my college classes for next year. I will be a freshman in college. I'm nervous about it. I've picked out my classes already. I just have to pick the times and such. Thanks to technology, I can do it all online. How nice is that! When my parents were choosing classes when they were in college, they had to go into a big gymnaisum and run around going to booths trying to get in a class before they filled up! I'm glad I don't have to do that!

Hey, who ever has come here, could you send a quick email to me saying how you like the site? I live for feedback and I haven't gotten much. I'd like to know how everyone (if anyone comes here) likes this site of mine and for that matter, the other two sites of mine. Thanks!

I'm sorry to all who are reading this AVIDly. I know I said I'd updated frequently, but some days I just havee nothing to say! ^_^ Well...what did I do today? Hmmm...I typed a bit of a book, chatted a lot like I always do, went out and watched my dad think about buying a new cell phone plan, and I downloaded this great little HTML help program that acts like a reference for HTML coding and such. It's pretty cool. The other day, I downloaded one for ASCII code references that included other reference stuff too. I had to download the ASCII code thing because for some strange reason, I don't have Character Map on my computer any more. It just suddenly was not there. It's nowhere on my harddrive either. Strange. What is an ASCII code you ask? Well, it is what allows me to make the characters •°,ί,ή,θ,ι, etc... For example: to make "θ" on a PC, you need to hold down the ALT key and press the numbers 0232 on the number pad. Not the number row at top—the number pad. I know several by heart. They come in handy. Like that dash I just did between "top" and "the." That was ALT+0151. It's a fun little thing. I don't know how to do it on Macs because their system is different and more confusing. I'm not a fan of Macs anyway. I'd ramble off some reasons why, but I'm afraid of getting threatening emails about it from Mac lovers! So I won't.

Yesterday, I just finished typing Myst: The Book of Ti'ana (BoT for short). It is the second in the Myst novel series. The order in which the three Myst books have been published are as follows: Book of Atrus, Book of Ti'ana, and Book of D'ni. But in chronological order they are: BoT, BoA, and BoD. Why did I type BoT? Because I'd like to have it on reference just in case someone has a question about the story. If they do, I can type in some key words and find the quote right away and answer their question instead of flipping through the book trying to find the page which is nearly impossible. I have now started on BoA, but I'm only on page 14. Hey, I'm working on it! Once I'm done with that, I'll start on BoD. I am NOT putting the books online because that would not be legal. I just want them for my personal reference. Well, that's all for now! As they say hello/good-bye/peace in the D'ni culture, shorah!

OOPS!! Anyone who visited this page before this update will understand this. See how I make all the "th"s superscript? Well, on the June 9th update, I had forgotton to put the "/" in the tag to end the superscript command, so everything after the June 9th update was all in superscript which meant it was tiny and hard to read! SORRY! I know it looked bad and I didn't mean to do that. I made it look like I don't care about my site. I love my site and I hope you all (whoever you are) will keep coming here. I promise that will never happen again. Well, it's kinda late and I need to be going.

Ohhhhh...kay....so I lied. I never did put up another update yesterday or the day before. :P Sorry! I just kept getting preoccupied by other things over and over again. This past weekend I went to my friends' recital and it was really good! My friends are wonderful singers! (A special someone was a great singer too.) I just graduated high school on June 3rd and going back to the school to see my friends sing was strange. I know it was only a week ago, but I felt older going back. It was a little sad too, knowing that I would not see a lot of people there again for a long time if ever. Well, not much to say right now, so that will be all for now.

Good morning, everyone--it's afternoon isn't it? Oh well. ^_^ If you'll look to the left, you'll see a new animated gif. Do you like it? It was fun to make. If anyone can guess where the symbols on it are from, please email me. I'd like to know if anyone else knows. It's not that hard really, if you know what my interests are. ^_^ There's a hint on my Links page sort of as to what I am interested in. Well, I just spent the better part of the day working on some odd puzzles that someone put online. Very odd. Not that wonderful either, but it was something to do until lunchtime. I'm quite hungry now, so I'm going to eat. I'll probably put up another rambling today sometime.

Well, my mother just brought me something that was amusing. It is a list entitled 12 Things It Took Me 50 Years to Learn. It's interesting so I thought I would post the list here. It appeared in a Dear Abby article and someone found it on the internet so now it's made its way back onto the internet. Enjoy!

12 Things It Took Me 50 Years to Learn

Well, it's Saturday morning and I just felt like typing something to keep me busy this morning as of this moment I should be doing my chores around the house, but I just didn't feel like it. :P Oh well. I'll get to them eventually.

I just finished my first week of summer vacation. It was nice. I really didn't do much. Hung out with my friends, did a little miniature golfing, saw a movie. I saw The Mummy Returns. That was a cool movie! Anyone who hasn't seen it, go see it! The graphics in that movie are really astounding! Mind you, I love doing graphic arts so I nitpick at every movie regariding that subject And while this movie did have some moments that looked incredibly fake, a lot of it was really well done! I encourage everyone to go see it. Plus the added humor in this one was welcomed.

Hmmmm...looks like I can't get into my favorite chat right now. How annoying. Seems like the server is acting up again. See, I go to a chat called Cyan Chat very frequently because I love to chat and I usually don't have anything else to do! ^_^ J/K. The people there are really friendly and don't swear and say nasty things to everyone else like 99% of the other chats out there on the web. In fact, that is against the policy there. We all encourage everyone to be kind and curtious to other people. I, myself, also try to keep anyone in line who is acting up. If you do ever see anyone there acting up, you are able to report them. The server's name is called Cho. Cho is the name of the first character you mean in the highly successful computer game Riven. He is named that because the first word that comes out of his mouth is "Cho?" Cute, huh? Well, not cute since he gets shot with a blow dart, dragged away, and thrown off a cliff onto a ledge immediately after you see him! Trust me, it isn't a violent game. Go buy it and you'll understand. I'm a HUGE Myst/Riven/Exile/D'ni fan. Well, that's certainly enough rambling for now. Guess that was a LOT of rambling wasn't it. ^_^ Hey, it's my site! I can do whatever I want!

Whew! Goodness! I finally got that little animated gif to the left of your screen to work. That was an interesting task since I had pretty much no idea what I was doing! Turned out well, don't you think? If the spinning annoys you, don't worry. It stops after it plays 20 times. Isn't it cool? I used Bryce 4 to make it and Microsoft GIF Animator to compile the gif itself. It's basic but I like it. I love making sites like this!

Well, hello there, everyone! I got the idea of putting up a site like this from another person who did the same thing. I thought it was just strange enough and fun enough to do so I did it. It is not much yet, but over time, I will build on it. Who knows what I will discuss here in the future? I'll discuss whatever comes to mind and it could be anything. I do graphic arts and stuff for a hobby, so I might post pictures of my latest creations here from time to time. Until then, you can see my work at my other two sites at Mengermania and Practical Fractals. Mengermania is my site devoted to a VERY large origami project that I decided to do and contains 66,048 pieces. As soon as I get around to contacting Guinness, I will submit it to them for a possible world record. As far as I know, I definitely could have the world record for something like "Most Identical Units in an Origami Unit Structure" or something like that. ^_^ The Practical Fractals site is my other site devoted to my fascination with the artful nature of fractals. All of my artwork done with KPT5 & KPT6 is there. Please check it out and let me know what you think!
