Ramblings at the beginning of the month are at the bottom. Read in order of bottom to top. Yeah, it's a bid odd, but that's the way I typed them when they were on the main page, so that's the way they will be here.

I'll bet you're getting annoyed with the lack of updates I make, aren't you? Yep, you are. Any frequent visitor to this site would be. Sometimes, it's just that I don't feeel like taking the time to type out what I'm thinking or feeling. It's so much easier to actually say it than type it. At least it's that way for me. Anyway, I finally got around to making an update now, so here you go.

Last Thursday was my meeting with my english teacher about my research paper. (She's having short one-on-one meetings with all of us during class time about them.) She had read my rough draft that I turned in the previous week. I asked her if she were to give it a grade right now, what grade she would give it. She replied, "I don't see any reason why you shouldn't get the highest grade possible." WOOHOO!!!!!!! Longest and hardest paper I've ever had to write and I'm getting a great grade on it! YAY!!!!! :) I love it when I get good grades on papers. :) Especially since I hate writing them.

Sheesh. My car is a bother. On Friday, I took it in to Saturn (I have a 1995 Saturn somethingoranother) becuase at the 40-mile-an-hour mark, the gears shift very strangely and my car started chugging back and forth violently. Not good. I took it in and after getting new spark plugs and something else it worked great. (Gotta love it when parents let you use their credit card to pay for something like that!) Oh, I also had the scheduled oil change. Well, today, just as I'm backing out of my parking space here at home, my driver's side outside rear view mirror (the glass part) just fell off! It's like the glue holding it on just decided to die right then and there. It fell off and of course shattered on the ground. *sigh* So, I went all the way back to Saturn (not a short drive) and had them replace the mirror. I just got back from doing that. Right now, it's about 2:11pm central time. (I stopped in the middle of my update here to take it in.) So that was just the beginning of my day.

So, when the mirror fell off, I parked the car, threw my bag into my mom's car, and ran inside (I was becoming late for my class at college at this point) to tell my mom that I was going to take her car becuase I figured it was safer to drive with a mirror than not. And of course in all this, I forgot that she was going to use her car at that exact time to go to the dentist because she had an appointment. Hrmph. (Can you tell it's one of THOSE days?) So, I left the house once again, got in my car and drove off to college (I go to a community college). And of course, I hit every red light along the way. Of course. I get to campus, turn to get my bag out of the right seat where I usually put it while driving and realize...I left it in MOM's car! AAAH! You'd think I'd realize sometime during the drive that I didn't have it, but noooooooo. By the time I got to campus, it was too late to drive home and get my bag and ake it to class on time (15-minute drive one way) so I go to class without anything to work with. Thankfully, I told my sad tale to some friends and they loaned me some paper and a pencil. Luckily, we weren't taking a test or anything today or doing anything else really important and it was my only class of the day. After class, I got in my car, drove home, did my assigned homework from class, and here I am. So, as you can clearly see, it was definitely one of THOSE days. I hate THOSE days! It appears that it is over but it's only a little past 2 here so who knows what will happen next. Hopefully nothing. Maybe it was just one of THOSE mornings and not days. I can hope, can't I?

On a lighter and more cheerful note, I've recently started making WinAmp skins. Okay, so I've only made one so far but while it's HARD, it's also FUN! I'm making my second one now and unlike my first one, it's not going to have any slight pixel-displacement errors (hopefully). I submitted the first one to DeviantArt (if you can find the link to that site somewhere on this site, good for you...I'm too lazy to type in the url for it) and it got really good reviews! People want me to make more! Yay! And in case you're wondering, NO, I did not use one of those cheap pathetic skinning programs that does everything for you with only a flat image. I hate those. They show like no creativity except that of picking out the lame image to be the backdrop for the skin. I actually made mine from scratch the way they're supposed to be made and it shows true creativity and not just old stantdards. (At least I like to think so. ^_^) I'm thinking of putting up a new section on this site once I finish my second skin for Winamp skins that I have made just for fun. Of course, they will be available for download, too. :)

There. How's THAT for an update?? Nice and long for y'all. Cya!

*falls down dead of utter boredom* I'm so incredibly bored! Anyone who happens to live in northern Illinois who wants to go skydiving, email me, okay? Good. I've beey dying to go and no one I know wants to and it's no fun going alone.

It's hot and humid here and it's so uncomfortable. I need SOMETHING interesting to do before I explode. Anyone have any thoughts? Email me, IM me if you know my AIM name, or whatever. Let me know and if you get me out of my boredom I'll be forever greatful. It's too hot to type any more so I'll update later.

Yes, I know you all are probably ranting and wondering where on earth I went. Haven't you seen how often I update? You should know by now that it's sporatic! Geez, read more, would ya? ;) I've had a busy 10 days sorta. I still haven't turned in this darn research paper. Why? Becuase the due date has been pushed back to April 30th. I know, it's insane. I've had it written for two weeks now. :) I'm quite happy with that. Now all I have to do is get all my printed out information together, number my pages, print out a title page, and stick it in a big envelope and I'm set. ARGH! I just remembered! My books I borrowed from the library for this research paper were due on the 12th! And it's the 13th! *sigh* I better go return those and pay what's due. Probably won't be much though since it's only a day late. Gotta run! I'll update more later on today...or tomorrow...or...who knows?!

I'm a bad horrible mean rotten no-good friend. I can't believe I never mentioned my best friend's birthday! How horrible am I?!?! She just now told me that I never mentioned it on here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STEPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

March 19th was her birthday. And I'm just mentioning it now?! Good Lord, I'm a horrible person! At least I didn't forget it in real life! :) See, she was off at college for her actual birthday so I sent her a card to tide her over until she came home for spring break which is when I gave her her real present. (I know a card's lame. :P ) Her real present was the first X-Files poster that was ever made for the series. (She's an X-Files FREAK. ^_^) One of the days of break was our designated Movie Day that we had planned on for quite a while. It was also Oscar night. Movie day consisted of her and I sitting on her couch in her house eating ramen noodles (mmmmmmmmmmmm) and watching two that we wanted each other to see. I wanted her to watch Cube (cool movie!) and she wanted me to watch Moulin Rouge (also a cool movie!). That was a really fun time. It may not seem like just watching movies all day is fun to some but I really did have a great time. Steph and I have become closer friends ironically even though she's off at college nowhere near me. :) I think it's great.

After the movies, we hung out and talked about stuff and did stuff looking for easter eggs on the Moulin Rouge DVD which was fun. Her mom also made dinner for me becuase I was staying for the party. VERY tastey food! AND cake...mmmmmm...cake.... It was like her belated birthday party because she got a bunch of presents after dinner including a webcam which she and I were excited to try out from her college and my room. To see if we could connect with each other via NetMeeting. Did it work? NOPE. Of course not. It never does. I swear, there is SOMETHING out there keeping us from connecting electronically somehow. Not sure what though.

Then friends started coming over for her Oscar party. That was quite amusing. Hearing Steph and our friend Katie scream everytime they saw Lord of the Rings people either winning or losing or just saw the characters on screen. (LotR freaks they be as well.) So after we all watched that, we all went down in her basement to just sit and talk. I'm telling you, that is like my favorite thing to do with my group of friends. It's always hilarious and just plain fun. While down there, we played the good old game of Truth or Dare. Hee hee. That game always gets interesting. I won't go into details though out of respect. *giggle* All that talking and playing kept me up until 2 am which wasn't all that good considering I had school the next day early in the morning. Oh well. I didn't care. I didn't want to leave. If I didn't have school the next day, we all probably would have stayed there all night or something. That woudln't surprise me if we did. But noooooo, I had to have school the next day. *grumble* You should have seen me the next day though. I couldn't keep my eyes open at ALL. It was quiet amusing. :)

So, yeah. That's what I did for Steph's belated birthday. I ended up staying at her house for a total of 14 hours. Felt more like 5 minutes actually. Odd how that happens, isn't it?

And of course I'm STILL a horrible friend because my friend Katie's birthday was on March 31st and I never mentioned it! So..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KATIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, enough of me being a bad friend! Sorry Steph and Katie! (If y'all even read this...) :)

So, you like the new color scheme and graphics? I do. :) I was REALLY getting sick and tired of that ugly blue theme. It just wasn't me anymore. I like this one a lot better. It's calming to look at and easy on the eyes (at least for me). Plus, for the first time ever, I'm actually using a background image I made. I know it's nothing special to any of you but I never used one before. I thought I'd try something different. It turned out well.

Well, I'm on spring break now. *yawn* All of my friends had spring break last week so no one's here to do anything with. I'm so incredibly bored. I've got nothing to do. *yawn* But next week I will!...*evil smirk* Wouldn't you just love to know what I'll be doing? I'm sure you would. You know you would. But you know what? I'm not gonna tell ya! HA! Heeheeheehee!

So, yeah. Comment on the new site design okay? :)

Oh, by the way, the ramblings for March have been moved to the Archives.
