Kumiwa is the daughter of the head of her tribe, making her a Native Princess. Her tribe is considered sacrilegious to the rest of the inhabitants in the world because they don't believe in the unicorn being sacred, birds to them are their sacred being. This is probably so because unicorns aren't uncommon in the world, where birds in comparison would be.
She is engaged to her brother to keep the family in charge, but most anyone would want her hand, and her visa versa, as long as they were a pretty boy.
Kumiwa has one ultimate fear, or weakness, needles. She cannot stand the concept of piercing the skin with a needle.
