Koala is an odd girl who, because of her parents not being a major part of her life, is not trained for social confrontations and has very few friends. Her one friend is Yuri, and she frequently calls her when she is down.
Her parents frequently leave the country on business trips, sometimes up to a month at a time; this forcing Koala to take care of herself.
Often, she is over at Yuri's and sometimes sleeps over on school nights, because she isn't enforced to otherwise. Despite her low social level, she has been able to develop a little crush on her friends older brother.
Her favorite animal happens to be rabbits, her name just so happens to be Koala because her mother loves them. Her father had no say in her name because her mother's reasoning being "If I have to care a kid for 9 months, and then go through labor to have that child, I best be naming it, no if ands or buts."
Koala's character flaw is to burn every failing/bad test she has.
