When I was born, I was born a mutant. First off, I nearly died because my umbilical cord was around my neck, though I hear this is fairly normal. Also, I didn't talk until an abnormally old age because I could hear myself because of ear infections.

When I was born, I was born with six toes on my right foot. It wasn't just a flap of skin, it was a full fledged toe with a bone in it and a toenail on it. From far away, it wasn't that noticable, but close up it looked odd indeed. Despite my freakish abnormality, I was still a happy baby. The surgeon cut my extra toe off when I had surgery for my ear infections.

When I was born, an extra toe was not all that was extra about me. As not to be indecent, I will just say that I was born with three of something that humans only have two of. It isn't normal size, and it pretty much just looks like a small birthmark unless you know what it is. But, I know what it is. It's almost as if my body didn't quite evolve to being human and still wanted to be a monkey.

All that's left these days of the sixth toe is a small scar on my foot, a slightly bent little toe, and a few pictures. It saddens me to think that the surgeon took away my qualification for being part of the Addams Family. Just watch the first movie, and you will discover that I was once an Addams.
