About The Artist
Norm is a self-taught artist from northern Utah who began oil painting at the age of sixteen. He began his water-color debut nearly 25 years later under the direction of Mac Stevenson, a well known local artist. Norm later studied under artist Robert Call of Ogden, Utah and now enjoys relaxing among his family and friends in southern Utah.
Many of Norm's paintings have recieved ribbons in various Utah art competitions. They also premiered in a personal show at Eccles Art Center (Ogden, Utah) and the Springdale, Utah Postal Center and Art Display.
Other showings include the Weber and Washington County Fair, the Weber County Commissioners Office, and Roy City Offices as well as several Utah libraries.
Norm's paintings have been scattered across the country by various art collecters and he hopes to paint for years to come.
