This page is Dedicated to "My Pride and Joy", which is of course are my Children... Also to my Mother, although she has never pushed me to pursue my Inuk heritage, she has never made me forget who I am. :o)... (Annannaq, nakurmiik..mariialuk, Nalillivajit!) And of course never to forget my "SisterFriend" Elizabeth, you know who you are... without you I have'nt forgotten who I am and where I came from! After all, I have you to Thank for always teaching me and correcting me whenever I try... It's okay if it's another Dialect, It's Inuttitut!!

Inuit:- are people of the north,

( Nunavik - nunavut & Greenland )

Inuk:- is an inuit person. not to be mixed up with the "Eskimo's" which is given to them by "Outsiders" or "Whitemen" and derived from an Algonquain Indian word meaning 'He eats raw'.
The Inuit speak two Languages, though there are numerous local dialects. The Inuit of Siberia and the southwest Alaska speak 'Yupik', while the rest of the Inuit right the way across to Greenland speak 'Inupiaq' or Inuttitut as it is more commonly known.

I'm from a Small village located in Northern Quebec named "Puvirnituq". Although I have'nt been there for Eleven Years, I know that one day, I'll visit with my Family and also give a chance for my children to see where I grew up... I'm not all Inuk, I'm also part Scottish, hence my English/Scottish Heritage... Interesting eh? Well, My childhood was a jewel one, I had the best of two worlds, first Seven Years in a small village, then across the water to a Town in Scotland named "Greenock", and now I'm in a big City.... Wow, what an experience!... I do prefer to live in the countryside, It's more comfortable for me...

Like I said, "first Seven Years" I only spoke my Native tougne. When I moved to Scotland, that's where I learned English and also Learned about my Scottish Heritage. Now, I only speak English and I can only remember basic communication skills in Inuttitutt. Which I am pursuing to Learn all over again, not only by myself, but with my Children...
So here we go, as I investigate, I'll add to my page and from there, we will discover together how wonderful Inuit people are... :o)...

Enjoy!
Bitter sweet Reunion
