Weight management calculations



Exercise :

Case 1
For the following person make a diet recommendation in order for him to achieve
his desired weight. 

Man 5"7' , age 33, actual body weight 220lb , desired weight 170 lb, sedentary. He
    is willing to do some exercise. 

Calculate:
a) BMI for his current weight
b) Kcal need to maintain his current weight (use quick method)
c) Kcal needed to achieve his desired weight (use Haris Benedict)  
D) How many Lb a week is he going to be loosing?
E) He wants to loose extra ½ lb a week, by exercising in adition to kcal reduction .
   What can he do in terms of exercise? Tell me how much walking he needs  to do
   every day.

hios desired weight. 

Woman  5"4' , age 29, actual body weight 170lb , desired weight 120  lb, sedentary.
       She is willing to do some exercise. 

Calculate:
a) BMI for his current weight
b) Kcal need to maintain his current weight (use quick method)
c) Kcal needed to achieve his desired weight (use Haris Benedict)  
D) How many Lb a week is he going to be loosing?
E) He wants to loose extra 1 lb a week, by exercising in adition to kcal reduction .
   What can he do in terms of exercise? Tell me how much walking he needs  to do
