The Modesto Omni-adjustable Orthosis. MOO.
These pictures show some of the draw back of the static Off The Shelf Hip abduction brace. Can't stand erect, can not lay down comfortably, and the padding displaces leaveing a poor fit and loss of adduction control.

The hip joint is very simple. This shows the ROM slot to a full 90 degrees of motion. The finished joint has three more holes for a static lock at 10, 45 and 90 degrees.
