Hugo Mijares is a breed of new Architects for the next century. A young and powerful design approach, product of the artistic and conceptual formation in Venezuela and Europe with the practice and technologies acquired in USA. Hi opens he's first Studio in 1997 in Caracas, he has worked for well known firms as Arquitectonica International in Miami. Mijares decided to stay in the States and learn about the process of construction. Currently living and working in Sarasota,Florida and studying for a Master's degree in Architecture and Sustainability he is focused in the commitment of environment friendly building design.
  Regardless of trends of the passing moment he remains true to the ideals of the Modern Movement and exploring the boundaries of new materials and the capacities of  computer  based programs.
  As well as Architecture, Mijares was trained in the Industrial Design field and Image Design, which is evident in everything is his design. His passion for the Bauhaus "all included" under the premise of design, shows itself from development of the building through the assembly of each piece of furniture concluding in the final image of every project.
