Angels Weep
They look down from heaven
and see the painful scene.
they stand together bound for eternity
and into their wings, the angels weep.
They witness the children being hurt
torn apart by their parents lies.
Although heaven is a perfect place
the pain beneath is hard to escape.
The horror that happens down below
is witnessed by heavens perfection.
They try and keep their halos up high
while guiding children in the right direction.
Still they seem to go unnoticed by many
and the painful circle continues to go by.
And into their wings angels weep
while the sinners fall fast asleep.
When all the rain seems to come right down
its the angels tears that make the sound.
sometimes they can't hold back their pain
and in the mist of a storm their crystal eyes drain
Through the innocence of a child
the angels try to show their face.
through them the Lord shines with grace.
Sinners fall fast asleep...
