This book is basically a collection of short stories written by the legendary Mark Gonzales. I'm not sure if all, but some of these stories have appeared in past issues of Thrasher. In fact, I read through this entire book in one sitting. Mark has a style of writing that makes you sort of connect with his characters and care about them. You can't stop reading until you find out what happens to them.
