Welcome to the webpage of Glitterberry Pricklies. Who is the hedgehog on the entrance page? That would be Malachite, my current quill-pal. What's in a name? Glitterberry Pricklies has no meaning, I just like it. I have had hedgehogs since 1998. I like to share my hedgie photos, hedgie drawings and hedgie movie clips; hence the website. I have always wanted to breed hedgehogs but it has never been the right time. Now that the USDA has relaxed their restrictions I've been thinking about having a litter of Malachite babies, if I can find just the right stud. (Just gotta get the permit that Florida requires.) While I would like to be a small scale hobby breeder, as a college student this is not currently possible. One litter though would be more than manageable. Check back in a few months and I may have some hoglets!
