About Josh Humble -

JOSH HUMBLE PRODUCTIONS is about progress. For the past eight years, Josh Humble has endeavored on a mission to be the best visual artist he can be. He initially began as a photographer, learning the ropes in every way possible, as he established Josh Humble Photography in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. Josh became a reputable photographer, both commercially, and artistically. He extended his services, photographing weddings, events and headshots for actors, models and entertainers. Acknowledging the South Florida market to be advantageous for his line of work, Josh relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, in the spring of 1996, where he eventually worked for nearly every full-color magazine within the area. Over the past three years, Josh has become quite acute to one of the most reputable local magazine markets in the U.S., while gaining popularity for his artistic skills, relating to the visual aspect of headshot/promotional material for the heavily saturated South Florida market of talented entertainment. Not intimidated by the abstract, he has been known to produce some of the more arresting images of the entertainers that regularly grace the infamous nightclubs of South Florida.
Having the desire to produce more than great images, Josh approached the offices of Scoop Magazine, a leading South Florida entertainment publication, in January of 2000, about producing a line-up of features, geared towards entertainment, called VIEWPOINT. The predominate basis of VIEWPOINT consisted of full-spread features on prominent people, both locally and internationally. Josh insisted on photographing, writing and designing the layout for the feature, himself (the layout was originally executed by hand, and then translated into image-ready by the pre-press department of Scoop Magazine). Eventually, Josh took the complete production of his feature into his own hands, entirely. In addition to his production responsibilities, Josh also handled the public relations and promotional/marketing aspects required to maintain his feature line-up.
Interviewing such greats as Bruce Johnston of The Beach Boys, Jon Secada and Superstar DJ/Producer, Victor Calderone, as well as many local well-knowns, Josh expanded his production to include a series of concert reviews, aptly titled: Concert Reviews 101, and a personal commentary called, My humble view. Concert Reviews 101 allowed Josh to feature musical legends such as Cher, Tina Turner and Ricky Martin.
While his career in the magazine market has grown expediently, Josh has also lent his full-production services to his headshot clients to include photographic, as well as retouch and graphic layout services for model and actor comps, along with a few CD covers.
Josh does not consider himself a ’pert shampoo’ or 'all-in-one' of visual designers, due to the various tasks he has taken on, nor does he consider himself an expert in anything he does. He’s just obsessed about his interests and trades and he has a natural intuition for his work.
Josh’s most recent venture has taken him to the position of publisher for The VIEW Magazine.com, an online, interview style publication, featuring some of the biggest names in the music and (soon to be) film industry. The format of The VIEW Mag. is much like his previous vision dictated, concerning his VIEWPOINT line-up.
