The Found Poem

The Found Poem is very similar to the French Dada poetic form, in that it utilizes words or phrases extracted from other 'found' prose works. The Found Poem differs from the Dada in that there is no set order in which the poet arranges the words, it is up to he or she. Therefore, Found Poems are usually more coherent than their French counterparts.Found poems are typically very visual poems.
