My Place of Employment

Hi again ! as you might already know, I am currently the Coordinator for an Audio/Visual Company. My company currently holds contracts to supply the Technical needs to three major hotels in San Francisco. The hotels are, The Mark Hopkins Intercontinental Hotel, which is situated on top of the famous Nob Hill Area. The Westin St. Francis Hotel, which is probably the most famous hotel in the Union Square Area. And last but not least, The Renaissance Parc 55 Hotel, in which I am currently assigned to. The Parc 55 Hotel is a new hotel which was established in 1985. It's 32 stories high and has over 1,000 guest rooms. My main duty in the hotel is to coordinate & provide the technical support for all clients that are having conventions & conferences within our facility. For me it is not only a joy to work for major clients, but also to work in a beautiful atmosphere such as a five star hotel as this.

The Renaissance Parc 55 Hotel Lobby

I guess one of the beautiful attractions of this hotel is it's main lobby. Not only does it have a touch of class with the brass and marble finishings, but also in the late afternoon, there is a pianist who plays wonderful music on the second floor atrium area!!

The Building Structure

Another gorgeous sight to behold is the actual building itself. Although there are a number of huge buildings in the dowtown area, this is one of the tallest. Last year in June of 2000, My co-workers and I had to go to the roof of this building to install sattelite frequencies for the U.S. Dept. of Defense. Well it was a top secret meeting they had I guess!!

Union Square

This is it ! the famous Union Square. Our hotel is about a 5 minute walk from here. Around this area are all major shopping boutiques ranging from, Luis Vuitton, Bally, Neiman Marcos, etc. I guess you can call it a sort of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
