I have looked upon the stars 
I have heard your whisper from afar 
the message much to silent for me to hear 
yet I know the message will make all clear 
so I stand, ready to listen with open ears 
but I would never look you in the eyes for I fear 
I fear the unknown; I fear the truth
I know I must face your voice someday
for now though, i'll remain ignorant and look away
