Rainbow The ocean rumbles and the lightening cracks Colorless, motionless, everything's black A rainbow appears upon the scene Suddenly a few stars start to gleam I can see them twinkle through the clouds The lightening still cracks but not so loud The ocean does not rumble but only stirs The darkness in my heart is replaced with words Words of hope, of promise and of love I can still see the sorrow I put it aside though with hopes of tomorrow Rainbows aren't seen until after the rain Greatness is not achieved until after some pain
