My heart had been asleep,my blue eyes have had many tears in them. I had been so alone. My heart thinking that it was better off asleep,keeping my joys of nature and of my favorite mountain tucked away so deep in the creves of my soul. My blue eyes a wall to the world around them.They thought it better to hide. My soul a closed door for those who would wish to come in,better that way my spirit thought,then no harm could come my way,no pain,nor happiness either. My heart had planned to continue to sleep,my blue eyes had planned to continue to shield,my soul had planned to stay shut,my blue eyes continued to cry. Then one day,a friend came along.someone for whom my heart tryed to sleep.A friend came along that my blue eyes tryed to hide,A friend came along and the door to my soul tryed to stay shut,A friend came along and wiped my tears away.I tryed to cry more tears but they would not come. A friend came along that my spirit could not fool, could not hide. A friend came along and read the stories of my heart. A friend came along and pulled my mountain right out the creves of my soul.A friend came along and now my heart is awake.A friend came along and my blue eyes stopped crying,a friend came along and my spirit can't hide.A friend came along,and my mountain lives in others as well. wow,what a friend can do.
