 I was born in 1958 in a small town in the Carpatian Mountains. Even since my childhood I plunged into the mirage of nature and colors that fascinated me. That was the very first impulse to go study Fine Arts.
Later on, in my youth, I attended a 8 years course at the School of Fine Arts where I significantly improved my skills in all kinds of portrait techniques and oil painting.
In 1988, I was granted the "National Comittee of Culture and Art Certificate as a Professional Painter".
In these years of study I have become aware of the beautiful and the complexity of the human look as well as the p lain air landscapes.
The most part of my paintings are to be found in my own local art gallery and in several private collections in Europe and US.
In my conception, each subject's character and state of mind reprezent a challenge for me.
