Basha's History

Between pain and joy I have found balance in life. Where the road before me leads I know not, but I will follow not fearing death and travail.

23rd Tempest 262~~~

Childhood in a Caravan

I am Basha, I do not share my full name with just anyone. I was born the 29th of Hoerfest year 21, into a family of merchants. I am the eldest of eight children, three boys and five girls. One of my first memories was playing in the back of a wagon full of colored silks with my siblings. I can still feel the softness of the fabric against my face when I think about it. We traveled extensively, across the land as well as the sea. We traded silks and spices, tools and toys, anything and everything.

I was young when I realized I wanted to be something other than a merchant. My family was very supportive of my decision and helped me learn anything I expressed a desire to learn. The only people I had around were my parents, siblings and cousins, so life was empty for me in the area of romance, but rich in love. Such was my early life.

Life in Sable

We came to Sable at least once a year to trade. This last year I finally left my parents caravan, with many hugs and tears, And began my training. I explored Sable and It's surroundings. After learning the value of mortality more than once I finally found the Mage guild. The training has been hard, but well worth it so far.

I have made many friends both in our guild and in others. I have also had the chance to explore emotions and feelings that until now I haven't had the chance to express.

20th of Renasci 263~~~

I felt the need to add on to my earlier entry since so much has occurred in the past few months. One of my sisters, Redava, has come to Sable. I have missed my family so much, it has been so good to have her here. The best thing that has happened recently is more personal. I have met the man I want to be with forever. He has made me happy beyond words. He is also a mage, for which I am very grateful.
