Sleepwalking Sleepwalking

Dripping from my eye
a tear perpetuates
and makes its way to the ground,

I think I hear your voice
but it's only a memory
coming to comfort me,

I reach out my hand
in the hopes of someday
finding something to hold onto,
Instead I find myself alone
wondering where the sun has gone
and what else I could have said to save the day,

I'm trapped in your heart
and I'm lost in your maze,
When you find me here alone, let me go,
I'd like to make my way back home,

I've got more time than I can spend
but I think I'll spend it alone,
Until I'm strong enough
to make my way back home

In the coldest of nights and the darkest of days
I wake up to the sound of your voice,
We fall a little farther down in endless sleep
and I wonder if you're just a memory
coming to comfort me,
I wake and find myself alone
wondering where the sun has gone
and what else I could have said to never wake,

I'm trapped in your heart
and I'm lost in your maze,
When you find me here alone, let me go,
I'd like to make my way back home,

I walk alone in silence
until the night is done
and I can go home
to pass my days alone.
